The Role
As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration management and administration functions within one of our core IT product teams.
Day-to-day, you'll work closely with our IT teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Develop and maintain the Configuration Management process, ensuring that all policy and process documentations is maintained under configuration management, reflecting industry best practice.
2. Conduct regular reviews of the Configuration Management process including planning and managing improvements to Configuration Management plans, policies, procedures and management tools.
3. Monitor the effectiveness of Configuration Management utilising Key Performance Indicators and implement recommendations for improvement as part of continual improvement activities.
Essential experience of the Configuration Manager:
1. Demonstrable experience within IT Configuration Management with a strong understanding of configuration management principles.
2. Proficiency with configuration management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential qualifications for the Configuration Manager:

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Bristol site. Hybrid working patterns are available.
