Job summary We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic band 3 therapy Technical Instructor to join our dedicated Therapy team at the Yorkshire Regional Spinal Injuries Centre, Pinderfields. We are a leading healthcare provider specialising in spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries. The Technical Instructor role supports the qualified Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in their work assessing, treating and providing rehabilitation to patients following spinal cord injury. The role is patient facing, requires moving and handling skills and involves the need to be involved in personal cares with patients. A portion of the role is admin focused using Trust IT systems. Main duties of the job To support Therapy staff in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of inpatients referred into Mid Yorkshire Therapy Services and complete delegated tasks as required. The role is patient facing and ward based, requires moving and handling skills including use of handling equipment ie hoists. Role involves the need to support patients with personal cares and toileting. A portion of the role is admin focused using Trust IT systems and liaising with others over the telephone.
