Having recently acquired two businesses in the UK and opened offices in London and Amsterdam, the foundations are being laid for a successful European operation. We’re looking for a self-starter, someone who, with the support of the team, will take responsibility for all the bookkeeping records for four group entities (2 UK, 1 EU and 1 US). The UK and US entities are currently managed on SAGE X3 with the EU entity using Exact (moving to SAGE X3 in April 2025). The objective of this role is maintaining integrity and timeliness of accounting records for four group companies. Responsibilities Maintaining integrity of accounting records More complex sales invoicing Bank reconciliation Month end processes Audit preparation Payroll review Stock reconciliations to financial systems in conjunction with Operations – UK and US VAT Returns Bank payments setup Development of internal financial processes Serving the financial needs of other business functions through effective communication and development of reporting Other finance tasks as required Requirements Accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA) required, preferably with a minimum of 3 years professional experience We are unable to offer sponsorship so candidate must be entitled to work in the UK Laser like attention to detail Self-starter willing to take responsibility High degree of IT literacy, including good Excel skills Problem solving ability Ability to develop constructive working relationships with third party partners Strong written and verbal communication skills What we offer Great working environment Friendly and supportive culture Good basic salary 5 weeks annual leave plus public holidays Annual bonus Place of work: mostly ‘in office’, central Glasgow Job Type: Full-time Salary: £44,000 per year
