We’re excited to offer a Senior Band 6 Occupational Therapist position with our prestigious NHS client in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This role is available immediately, with full-time hours per week initially for 2 months. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions, both individually and in groups, tailored to patients and their caregivers, following occupational therapy pathways. You’ll play a pivotal role in the recovery and rehabilitation of hospitalized patients, helping them regain independence in daily activities and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Previous experience in acute settings
2. Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
3. HCPC registration
Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include coordinating patient care, conducting assessments for young people under the care of Poplar Ward, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, assessing individual patient needs and progress, and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals.
