If you have a good mix of Lighting Camera experience and extraordinary reliability and punctuality that the Film ministry demands, then we’re looking for volunteers for the following roles:
What You'll Do:
Depending on the role, you'll be involved in going on set, into studios, into post-production facilities, or on location to light and film TV and Film interviews with leading and sometimes Oscar-winning or nominated film talent.
Why You'll Love It:
We always pay expenses and work with some of the most interesting and creative experts in film and television production, many of whom you'll get to meet. We are a local Surrey-based nonprofit and we provide as much equipment and resources as possible. However, you must bring reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to share in the less fun production work as well as the fun stuff. We are all former broadcast professionals, so we put a premium on reliability and punctuality. Without both of those, you are not, as we say in the business, "ready for the film set," where arriving late or not at all can cost thousands of pounds to the production/shoot.
What You'll Learn:
This is a volunteer opportunity at its heart, but we will provide training that extends the existing professional knowledge you have already adopted from your studies in creative arts. The more knowledge you bring, the deeper we can engage you at the heart of the creative processes. Please note, we do not provide unlimited and exhaustive training, but we help to build confidence and fill gaps in your knowledge that you will already have and want to perfect.
What We're Looking For:
1. Self-shooting videographers and lighting camera people.
2. Extraordinary and captivating on-screen talent.
3. Production assistance, including location management, runners, and scenic artists.
4. Experience in stage and set design.
