The role…
Do you want a front seat to the Tech and Sustainability market? Do you like the idea of joining a growing sales team and working collaboratively with a digital marketing team and technology analysts to sell research subscriptions and consulting projects?
In this role, you have the opportunity to make a difference to the growth trajectory of a small firm, already growing at more than 40% a year. Successful candidates will benefit from structured training over a period of 24-months and career development opportunities across both business development and client account management which will equip high performers to progress in a more senior sales role at Verdantix.
Salary opportunity is £28000 - £32000 depending on experience level, plus a very competitive bonus scheme, paid quarterly.
This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days a week in the office during probationary period, and will decrease to 2 days upon successful completion.
What you’ll be doing…
* Engaging with corporate decision makers who access our Vantage portal where we share free research. Welcoming, onboarding and nurturing these executives to ensure they have a positive Verdantix experience.
* Educating these executives on the breadth and depth of Verdantix in partnership with marketing and advisory team, with the objective of identifying opportunities for advisory projects for Verdantix.
* Build further engagement by setting up short expert calls with Verdantix analysts.
* Strong collaboration with marketing and building stand out cadences for automation to help with the above engagement (you’ll have Salesloft and Salesforce to work with).
* Identify and qualify opportunities for up selling advisory projects and hand over solid leads to the sales organization.
* Employ a team selling, consultative approach to accelerate the sales process.

* Calls with Vantage executives
* Engagement overall and with key targets
* Quantity and quality of up sell leads passed on
* Business Closed from above leads
About you…
* Undergraduate degree
* Proven ability to meet KPIs preferable
* Some commercial business experience with preference for research, media, events and software
* Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM software and Salesloft preferable
* Comfortable taking own initiatives and managing workload independently
* Sales characteristics of tenacity, drive, commercial awareness and persuasiveness
* Well organized and able to keep high levels of activity
* Outgoing personality enabling you to build rapport with executives and influence decisions
* Team player
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* World class sense of humour!
