AWS are a Recruitment Business (agency).
We are looking for Class 1 Day drivers out of Immingham to deliver Container, Side Curtain, and Trailers for both local and nationwide deliveries, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out pre and post trip vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance using a mobile app on your phone.
* Delivering cargo to various locations across the UK.
* Securing and handling loads in accordance with safety guidelines.
* Providing excellent customer service upon delivery.
* Accurately completing necessary paperwork.
* Adhering to all driving laws and company policies.
Some manual handling may be required, but the role is primarily driving. Flexibility on start times may be required.
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 licence
* Valid CPC and Digi card
* No more than 6 penalty points
* Willing to night out up to twice a week
* No DR or DD endorsements
