You will be provided with a structured 4-year training programme of both on-the-job and classroom/factory based instruction leading to BTEC Level 3 in Engineering. Assisting maintenance personnel in carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, improvements and modification or upgrade to plant and services in order to minimize downtime and maintain the equipment in the best possible condition. To carry out all engineering work to high engineering, quality, and safety standards. Adhere to and promote high standards of safety, housekeeping, and cleanliness in the workplace. Participate in safety training and implement safety practices learned. Engage actively in all training modules including Health & Safety in the Workplace Participate in continuous learning and improvement activities to gain comprehensive knowledge of processes and procedures. Required Criteria Applicants must have 7 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above to include English, Maths and a Science based subject.
