£50,000 to £55,000 plus Benefits, with Hybrid and Flexible Working Arrangements

ABPM are supporting a niche and well-established SME manufacturing client to recruit a Finance Manager. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, they will focus on ensuring accurate and timely management reporting and providing information to assist business decisions. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant (or close to completing their final exams) who can use their professional knowledge and experience to add value through detailed analysis.
An insight into your responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly management accounts.
\t
* Ensure all financial transactions are recorded, reported, reviewed, and reconciled.
\t
* Produce rolling cashflow forecasting.
\t
* Provide financial analysis for decision making.
\t
* Production of sales invoices for UK and overseas, including foreign rates and VAT.
\t
* Ensure VAT is accounted for correctly on all transactions.
\t
* Assist to develop budgets and forecasts.
\t
* Continuously seek improvements for accounts and reporting.
\t
* Compliance with regulations and legislations throughout.
\t
* Support the annual audit, with the production of year end accounts and annual stocktake.
Do you have the knowledge and experience?
\t
* ACA / ACCA / ACMA / or studying and close to completion.
\t
* Sector experience within Manufacturing, Engineering or Construction.
\t
* IT literate with advanced Excel skills. ERP/MRP knowledge would be desirable.
\t
* Foreign currency skills would be an advantage but not essential.
