JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the UK&I Director of E-Commerce, the primary purpose of the E-Commerce Key Accounts Manager is to grow and develop current E-commerce Key Accounts through a business-to-business consultative tactic to realise sales, brand investment, logistical efficiencies, and profit targets within clearly defined key performance indicators.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and winning market share within the assigned online key accounts. They will be accountable and responsible for delivering, executing, and achieving the E-Commerce & Key Accounts objective which is to execute with excellence and lead best in class examples as a flagship market to deliver solid revenue sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop close working relationships alongside the Director at all levels with each Key Account through a consultative business-to-business approach.
2. Full client management of an assortment of our selected E-commerce partners. Understand each business, with the objective to grow both market share and net revenue with each partner.
3. Arrange monthly meetings to present promotional activity and identify areas for growth in consultation with the customer.
4. Negotiate the successful execution of the sales, marketing, and consumer education plan within each account.
5. Achieve all targets as set and agreed in consultation with the Head of Key Accounts.
6. Negotiate prime brand positioning in all targeted accounts.
7. Identify business opportunities and help the Ecommerce Marketing Manager and executive to negotiate brand visibility and presence, and in turn drive sales.
8. Support in defining total channel budgets, targets, and strategy for E-commerce according to annual targets, market trends, launches/promotions & competitors' activities.
9. Own the day-to-day forecasting and stock management (S&OP) for the E-commerce channel. For monthly review with the Director and Demand Planner.
10. Support the Director to build & execute a strong promotional plan by Key Account. Accountable for rebate planning and post activity reporting.
11. Collate consistent and accurate data and statistics working with the Commercial Finance Analyst and the wider teams internally and externally across all our locations to ensure an efficient process.
12. Work closely with the UK Credit Control team, taking responsibility for managing account debt levels within set criteria and sharing results with senior management.
13. Own the individual logistical & commercial critical paths for each Ecommerce customer account, ensuring these are up to date and on track for each project.
14. Ensure ghd SKU information is up to date and manage basic changes & updates with customers.
15. Management of the order process - delivering on both customer expectations and business objectives.
16. Centralise commercial data to highlight to the selected ecommerce partners team.
17. Build relationships with the logistical teams from each account to ensure effective communication throughout the channel.
18. Identify new opportunities, in line with UK online strategy.
19. Work closely with ghdhair.com and the UK salon channel to ensure all updates are communicated.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Proven account management experience specifically negotiating with senior stakeholders within key/national accounts.
2. Experience of influencing and negotiating with teams at all levels.
3. Be sales driven and commercially aware of the beauty/fashion market and trends.
4. Instinctive commercial flair to drive decisions that improve KPIs and performance.
5. Demonstrate ownership and accountability, can give examples of taking measured risks to achieve results.
6. Enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing, with a positive 'can do' attitude, determined to win and a passion for customers and all things digital.
7. Act with transparency and integrity.
