* Vacancy: Strategic Planning Senior Officer

Position: This is a newly created role within the context of creating an integrated new organisation structure for the newly merged UHI North, West and Hebrides. The role will sit within the new Department of Performance and Planning, which will support the college’s ambition to become a high performing and excellent organisation. The Strategic Planning Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic and operational plans for UHI North, West and Hebrides.
Responsibilities: The Strategic Planning Senior Officer will support executive leadership and senior management teams, academic and professional services departments, and other stakeholders, in development and maintenance of strategic and operational plans, and will work to ensure the college has a comprehensive planning framework in place which aligns the college's strategic direction with its mission, values, and available resources. The postholder is also responsible for conducting any required research in this context, analysing data, and providing insight reports to inform the college's long-term goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Experience in planning, data science, business development, market research, finance, statistics or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a business or public planning or administration context, or a related field. Preferably within the further or higher education sector. Experience in risk management is an asset. Applicants should be educated to degree level SCQF level 10 or above in a relevant subject area.
Salary: £35,039 - £37,849 per annum
Location: Any UHI North, West and Hebrides Campus
Working Hours: 35 hours, Permanent
