What you'll be doing
As an Engineering Lead, you will help shape the Document Management Platform under Servicing Communications. This group is part of the Chief Data & Analytics Office (DFDT) and part of the overall COO team in Nationwide.
Our Engineering leads are team players with a great level of technical understanding, so you'll be comfortable managing the technical requirements, be they on or offshore. You'll work with colleagues across the society to deliver the Servicing Comms for Nationwide.
We're looking for an Engineering Lead with passion, creativity, determination, and enthusiasm that will help us uncover the best ways of delivering value in the future.

About you
For the role of Engineering Lead, we are looking for a demonstrated significant track record of the end-to-end technical understanding, knowledge, and optimisation of an organisation's technology platform or platforms in Financial Services, or other similar regulated sectors. That means we expect you to have skills in the following:
1. Hands-on experience on Macro4 Columbus DW, Columbus explorer, Columbus configure and Columbus file API.
2. Must have hands-on experience on decompressing the data from Columbus instance using PStool kit and do modification.
3. Experience with Ricoh AVE tool to reindex and edit the AFP files and build the capability to mask the sensitive data.
4. Great programming knowledge in Windows PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, and Python.
5. Must have extensive data migration experience from Columbus to IBM CMOD for different file formats (Metacode, PCL, AFP, TIFF, PDF, etc).
6. Hands-on experience with IBM CMOD/ODWEK design and development.
7. Good knowledge on DB2 configuration and handling issues.
8. Should have experience with Pacemaker HA cluster hosted application, DevOps, CICD & experience with AWS/Azure Cloud data engineering services.
9. Strong reporting and communication skills. Able to handle several tasks on a variety of different projects at the same time.
