Newcastle is a great place to lead and manage Youth Justice Services. We are seeking a Youth Justice Team Manager with the drive and determination to go the extra mile: a team player with tenacity who can support the service to provide innovative and excellent youth justice services to young people in Newcastle.
You must have high practice standards and the ability to develop and lead a team of social work and youth justice staff.
The successful candidate will join a strong and experienced management team and a committed workforce who are focused on improving outcomes for young people through the application of best practice and high professional standards. You should have experience of working with complex adolescents within a statutory framework and a proven ability to improve outcomes for young people.
You should hold a relevant qualification and also have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience and evidence of managing a team, service development and motivation of staff.
