Accordingly, you will have the credibility and presence to be effective at this level, along with the interpersonal skills to successfully build those relationships and be their Trusted Advisor.
Our Client, a major name in Insurance Broking, has an excellent opportunity for an Account Director to lead the delivery of first-class risk management service to a range of major clients.
You will be responsible for the revenues of those clients, and their interests will be at the heart of the way you do business. Often these Clients will be household names, so you will need the integrity to operate at this level.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand the clients' business and their Risk Management needs to provide first-class Insurance solutions.
2. Ensure Insurance solutions are appropriately priced to meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business.
3. Using your technical knowledge to shape discussions with clients and provide guidance to the client teams.
4. Thinking strategically about your client base and proactively bringing opportunities/ideas to the wider team.
5. Lead and deliver the end-to-end ongoing client service.
6. Proactively develop client relationships to ensure excellent retention rates.
7. Manage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met.
Qualifications:
1. First-class Commercial Insurance knowledge including Professional Indemnity.
2. Integrity, credibility, and presence at Senior levels.
3. Proven experience managing a client team and providing advice and guidance on some of the more complex aspects around their day-to-day management.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Genuine desire for excellent customer service and collaboration.
You will be focused on your client's needs and responsive to them, which would include visiting them when virtual meetings are not appropriate. Otherwise, you will be able to work on a hybrid basis, visiting the London office to keep in touch with your team.
