Part-Qualified Accountant / QBE with Audit Experience – High Wycombe
Are you a part-qualified ACCA/ICAEW or QBE accountant with audit experience? We have an exciting opportunity in High Wycombe for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and professional business.
About the Role:
You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
* Working on numerous audits, growing the client base, and maintaining existing client relationships.
* Supporting Managers and Directors in delivering professional accountancy services.
* Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time to deliver audits in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Supervising junior staff and preparing audit planning documentation for review.
* Supporting Managers and Directors with a varied general portfolio, including financial reporting, corporate and personal taxation, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver audit files in accordance with UK GAAP.
* Manage client communication effectively.
* Proactively monitor assignment budgets.
* Prepare Limited company accounts for review by Managers/Directors.
* Prepare Corporation Tax computations for review.
* Prepare partnership and sole trade accounts.
* Prepare personal and partnership tax returns.
* Prepare and review VAT returns.
* Manage accounts preparation.
* Highlight deficiencies in client records or areas of concern to Managers/Directors and recommend improvements.
About You:
* Part-qualified ACCA/ICAEW or QBE with previous audit experience.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in practice.
* Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
* Keen to learn, develop, and support trainees with their training and development.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong IT skills, ideally with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH, as well as proficiency in Word and Excel.
