An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Corporate Facilities for the post of Head of Transport and Travel.
As a Senior Manager within the Estates and Facilities Management Directorate you will manage, lead and develop transport and travel planning, management policies, staff and services across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will ensure an efficient, safe and resilient fleet operates reflective of the Board’s demands and work collaboratively with a wide range of organisations to offer specialist knowledge and advice consistent with Board’s strategic targets. You will manage the Board Travel Planning Office to complement the overarching transport and travel objectives and improve the Board’s carbon footprint.
Applicants should have demonstrable experience at a senior level in managing a large fleet of commercial vehicles and also in transport and travel planning. You should be educated to degree level, hold the Transport Management Certificate of Professional Competence and be a member of a relevant professional body.
