We are supporting a deeply impactful UK charity in recruiting a Marketing & Communications Manager. This organisation delivers essential support to bereaved children, young people and families, and is seeking a strategic communicator to lead their marketing and communications function. This is a rare opportunity to shape how the charity’s story is told – amplifying the voices of those they support and driving greater understanding and engagement around their mission. About the role: You will lead the development and delivery of external communications, digital content, and brand strategy. The role spans website, social media, campaigns, print materials, and PR. It is both strategic and hands-on, ideal for a creative communications professional who wants to use their skills for real social impact. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing a charity-wide communications and marketing plan Leading on digital strategy, including web, email and social media Managing media and PR relations to increase the charity’s profile Creating compelling content and campaigns that support fundraising and services Managing brand consistency and tone of voice across all touchpoints Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver coordinated messaging About you: You’ll be an experienced communications professional, ideally with a background in the charity, public, or health sectors. You’ll be confident managing multi-channel content, proactive in identifying opportunities, and committed to the values of empathy and impact. Essential skills and experience: Proven experience in a communications, marketing or PR role Excellent writing and storytelling skills across multiple formats Strong digital knowledge and confidence with CMS and social media tools Ability to manage a busy workload and lead on key projects Strategic thinking with hands-on delivery capability Understanding of working within sensitive or emotionally complex topics is a plus This is an opportunity to use your voice and your creativity to help others find theirs.
