We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant Administrator to cover maternity leave for a one-year fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities: Purchase Ledger Management: Processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and managing payment runs. Invoice Processing: Ensuring accurate coding, approval, and timely processing of invoices. Supplier Liaison: Handling supplier queries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring transactions are correctly recorded and accounts are balanced. Expense Management: Reviewing and processing employee expenses in line with company policies. Data Entry & Accuracy: Maintaining financial records with attention to detail and accuracy. General Administrative Support: Assisting the finance team with ad-hoc admin tasks as required. Key Requirements: Accounts Experience: Proven experience in a similar accounts role, particularly with purchase ledger tasks. Attention to Detail: Strong numerical and accuracy skills to ensure financial records are correct. IT Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g.,, Xero, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Ability to Work Independently: Self-motivated, able to manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines. Team Player: Willingness to contribute to the team and work collaboratively in a family-run business.
