PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE, is currently seeking applications for an Administrator – Export Sale. This is a newly created position due to company growth, based at our distribution center in Thurnscoe, Rotherham. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world, currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130+ countries. We design, manufacture, and distribute market-leading workwear, safety wear, and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Administrator – Export Sale serving our global markets, you will work with customers in Africa, MENA, Asia, Caspian, Latin America, and ASEAN to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner. You will use your coordination and communication skills to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders as part of the order processing and delivery cycle. You will hone your skills in export documentation and provide quality customer service. The position sits within an established team, and among your duties and responsibilities include:
1. Process customer orders and ensure their timely release.
2. Liaise with customers, warehouse staff, and carriers for the dispatch of products.
3. Receive and perform checks on export-related documentation for dispatches made to countries outside of the EU to ensure compliance.
4. Apply for and attribute certificate of origins to orders.
5. Respond to customer queries and requests around invoices, credit, export documentation, and stock availability.
6. Drive customer traffic to our website to streamline the order process.
7. Demonstrate adaptability for specific country regulations which our processes may need to cater for.
8. Deal promptly and appropriately with queries from various stakeholders in a competent and solution-focused manner.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
To become the Export Sales Administrator – Global Markets you will need:
1. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
2. Strong IT skills in using the Microsoft Suite, ERP systems, and navigating websites.
3. Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills with fluency in English.
4. Knowledge of export documentation is a distinct advantage.
5. Availability to work in Thurnscoe, Rotherham, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
