We are looking for an experienced Artisan Baker
We are Two Magpies Bakery! A group of artisan bakeries established in Suffolk & Norfolk with our central production unit being based in Walpole, Suffolk. We are looking to recruit an experienced Baker to join our friendly & experienced team.
Responsibilities:
1. Mix, shape & bake bread, as well as produce other dough-based products.
2. Learn to prove & bake viennoiserie products (croissants, etc.), bake & fill doughnuts, etc.
3. Engage in product development, keeping our offerings seasonal & ever-changing for our customers.
4. Support wider teams to ensure smooth running of the overall site.
Qualifications:
1. Experience with doughs & sourdough is essential.
2. Knowledge of Sourdough theory & methodology.
3. Understanding of the importance of following set processes and safe food practices under HACCP procedures & system.
The role is full-time, 45 hours over 5 days with 2 consecutive days off. Our site is in a rural area of Suffolk, so your own transportation is necessary.
