DISCOVER your opportunity The Global Reward Centre of Excellence (COE) team has responsibility for the design of global reward policies and philosophy for AXA XL including the annual cycle process design, calendar and communications, AXA Group standards and governance, Long Term Incentive Design/Administration and Executive Compensation Review. The team is also responsible for providing client coverage to our global and corporate function business areas and has oversight of our regional business unit total reward teams to ensure consistent execution and delivery of AXA XL’s Total Reward programs and initiatives. The Global Compensation Partner position is a part of the Global Reward COE team and will drive the compensation strategy for one or more business areas and be responsible for one or more key process areas that are the driven out of the Reward COE. The role reports to the Reward Chief Operating Officer. Essential Responsibilities Providing compensation consulting and thought leadership on matters including, but not limited to, reward policies and procedures, philosophy, internal and external market positioning, job evaluation and other aspects of compensation to ensure clients are able to effectively recruit and retain top talent. In particular: Supporting the annual cycle planning and execution as the primary contact for HR Business Partners and respective Leadership Team members in your client group Performing complex analyses and presenting findings to HR Business Partners and Managers to facilitate talent and reward decisions Consulting with HR Business Partners, Recruiting and Managers to create offer packages for key strategic hires Partnering with Regional Reward teams, providing oversight to ensure consistent execution and delivery of AXA XL’s global reward policies and philosophy for e.g. new hires, promotions, … Partnering with the Global Mobility team, as necessary, on aspects of compensation for internationally mobile employees within the global functions Performing analysis of and job evaluation, and internal and external benchmarking data to support compensation needs. Investigating and communicating compensation best practices Assessing market conditions and pay practices to ensure attractiveness of compensation programs Providing support to one or more key processes, policies and projects driven out of the COE which include but are not limited to Annual Cycle, Governance, Remuneration Policy & Standards and Executive Compensation Review Regularly collaborating with internal HR clients, COEs, and multidisciplinary senior-level leaders Required Skills Ability to work closely with stakeholders and build collaborative relationships Significant and demonstrated experience in Reward and compensation tools Capability to negotiate and influence at all levels, including adding value to senior-level negotiations Robust technical abilities using Excel Analytical thinking and ability to work with large data sets from different sources Ability to understand and analyze complex topics Not afraid to challenge the status quo to simplify processes Ability to work individually and lead initiatives as required, demonstrating effective project management, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills; robust consultative/client service skills Experience working within a globally matrixed organisation About AXA XL AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
