Applications are invited for the above post within Strathcarron Hospice to join our Bank team of Catering Assistants in providing a high quality dining experience for patients, families, visitors, students and staff.
You must have well developed communication skills, be able to work well in a small team and be able to demonstrate your ability to relate to the public in a caring setting.
You should have a working knowledge of catering procedures and previous experience would be an advantage. You should also hold a food hygiene certificate.
The kitchen is open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm and we have two shift patterns: 0700-1430 and 1100-1900. Applicants should be flexible in the days they can work and be able to cover both shift patterns.
Training and supervision will be an integral part of the post holder’s development.
The post is subject to a check by the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
