Salary: up to £50,000
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Site measurements and preparations of weekly cost and production reports.
2. Undertake cost forecasts.
3. Liaise with the site teams to assess and prepare quotations and estimates.
4. Management of subcontractors including enquiries, order placement, and payment assessments.
5. The production of valuations and submission to clients.
6. Interpret drawings and instructions and agree estimates with site teams and clients.
7. Liaise with subcontractors to agree rates and services.
8. Agree final accounts with all parties in a prompt manner.
9. Assist the financial director and his team in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting.
10. Any other reasonable requests from company management.
Candidate Skills
1. QS Degree or equivalent.
2. Civil Engineering (Highways/Structures) experience.
3. Extensive experience with both private and public sector clients on major projects and a working knowledge of NEC (mainly) and JCT forms of contract.
4. A knowledge and understanding of the component parts of a project and overall construction costs.
5. Great interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate effectively (both internally and with Clients).
6. IT Skills, such as Office, Outlook, measure software.
7. An ability to make your own informed decisions and work unsupervised.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 08:00

Negotiable (depending on experience)
