Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for their clients. This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining customer networks, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
This is a remote role with genuine flexibility and occasional on-site visits. Applicants must be based in NI, hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide IT support via helpdesk and occasional on-site visits.
* Maintain and update customer documentation.
* Perform routine network maintenance.
* Identify opportunities for additional services.
* Stay updated on new technologies and suggest improvements.
Technical Skills
Essential:
* Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange & Office 365
* Networks & cloud-managed firewalls
* Antivirus & remote access tools
* Basic Linux & in-house systems experience
Desirable:
* Cisco & firewall expertise
* VMware, Linux, hardware maintenance
* Web development experience
