About the Role
As a Specialist CAMHS Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health support to children, young people, and their families. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), managing a complex caseload and providing evidence-based interventions to support those with significant mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct specialist assessments and provide interventions for children and young people with mental health difficulties.
* Develop and implement care plans, ensuring effective risk management strategies are in place.
* Offer clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to junior staff and other professionals.
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies and other services to ensure integrated care and support.
* Participate in service development, evaluation, and improvement initiatives.
* Provide expert consultation and training to professionals working with children and young people.
