Principal purpose of job (role summary)
● Work with hire team, maintain a comprehensive knowledge of venue hire bookings ensuring the agreed details are delivered successfully to encourage repeat business.
● Lead the customer facing team when on shift to deliver an excellent customer experience, maintaining the highest standards at all times. Focussing on hires (but working across all WTM’s diverse range of events and venues), building a good working relationship with hirers and the venue hire team to deliver exceptional service and promote repeat booking.
● Ensure an effective FOH, bar and retail operation when on duty leading the team to drive secondary spend and donations.
● Assist the Customer Experience Manager in the smooth and efficient running of live events and cinema shifts across our theatre venues and museum shifts from time to time.

● Ensure the programme of events runs smoothly and safely to a high level of customer experience excellence.
● Ensure all Customer Experience Assistants, Casual Staff, Volunteers & Work Placements are fully conversant with emergency evacuation procedures.
● Assist the Customer Experience Manager in ensuring entertainment licensing, fire safety, H&S, Food & Hygiene & alcohol legislation/regulations are strictly observed at all times.
