Job Role: Small Tools Fitter
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Salary: £27,000-£29,000 (Overtime Available + Full training)
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30

The Client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and National plant hire firm to support the growth of their team. Our client, who have been established for over 50 years, have reached a stage of growth where they are looking to onboard & train engineers from either a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background to the team. They offer a comprehensive training scheme alongside relative internal progression routes.
The Package:
* 22 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays / Increasing by 1 day for every year of service (25 overall)
* All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.5x (£21 per hour)
* Salary Sacrifice Scheme for an additional 5 days annual leave per annum
* Full training & development with a focus on internal progression, route is as follows: (Workshop/Mobile Engineer > Lead Engineer > Hiring Manager > Site Manager > Regional Manager)

The Responsibilities:
* Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Carry out maintenance and repairs on an array of small tools (saws, drills, mini diggers etc).
* Complete further training surrounding the wider kit list.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
* Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
* Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
The Requirements:
* Previous experience working within the automotive industry or hold experience with mechanical fitting.
* Experience working on engines would be advantageous.
* Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience.
* A desire to lead, manage and grow a team of your own.
* Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in any automotive engineering (advantageous).
* Open for full training and development within the plant industry.
* Full UK Drivers License.
