The Business Development and Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying new funding opportunities, and fostering relationships with donors, partners and the culture sector. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Leadership Team and will be instrumental in advocating for the work we do, growing the business, and promoting the opportunities Severn Arts brings to children and young people and the wider community of Worcestershire.

Part time, 30 hours per week (0.81 FTE)

Based at Severn Arts offices, Worcester
The Business Development and Marketing Manager will:
Lead on business development for Severn Arts, working with the Senior Leadership Team to design and implement innovative and creative strategies to promote and widen our reach, maximise our professional relationships, and increase sales and commercial opportunities.
Be responsible for planning and directing the marketing activity of the business both strategically and on a day-to-day basis.
Person specification:
Degree level or equivalent qualification, or at least 3 years experience in a marketing, business development or fundraising role
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the cultural sector
Track record of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience of leading and implementing marketing and communication strategies
Experience of managing a budget
Substantial experience of working with press and media, including demonstrable success of securing media coverage
