Role: Cover Supervisor
Salary: £90-£120 per day
Location: Carmarthen
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
Teaching Personnel are looking for a School Cover Supervisor to provide general cover in a partner school in the Carmarthen area. The school is always on the lookout for Cover Supervisors to join their team to support the teaching staff when there are illnesses or absences. The school is a secondary school that values supporting the local community.

Roles and responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
* Delivering lessons where the work has been set by the teacher.
* Ensuring positive behaviour management in accordance with school policies.
* Supporting pupils who are having difficulty in completing the work that has been set.
* Developing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive learning environment.
* Assisting with the supervision of pupils out of lesson times, including before and after school and at lunchtime.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
* Be a driver with access to your own vehicle (Essential).
* Hold Right to Work in the UK with proof of documentation.
* Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) & Disclose & Barring Service (DBS).
* Provide 24 months worth of references, including any related references you may have worked with children.
* Hold a degree (any subject).
* Previous experience either working as a Classroom Manager, Cover Supervisor, or delivering lessons in secondary schools as an Unqualified Teacher is preferred; however, we would welcome applicants from anybody with transferable experience or skills, or those who have supported young people in a similar capacity.
