Business Central Technical Analyst Our role As the Business Central Technical Analyst, you will further develop our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Platform. Working with the IT Dynamics Technical Lead and the Central Services Product Owner, you will contribute to solution design and oversee connections and integrations with external systems. Network Plus and its associated companies have established a strong platform using Microsoft Dynamics to support the Finance function, with plans to further develop and utilise the product, so this is an exciting time for someone to join. We have a large road map of greenfield work in front of us. Key Responsibilities You will perform requirements analysis of the financial processes and mapping to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will support the finance team, along with the wider business requirements too. You will ensure a strong delivery process through reliable estimations and accurate planning. You will provide strong specification and documentation, and ensure high quality code, integrations, and data quality. You will recommend system changes and enhancements, to ensure routine housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks. You will undertake BAU and configuration tasks as required from the business to help support the IT Dynamics Technical Lead and the IT Service Desk. You will be required to contribute to wider IT Project work to help support the IT Strategy and deliver key financial priorities from an IT perspective. Must be familiar with AL development code and able to interrogate / debug this via Visual Studio Code Experience and Qualifications Good knowledge of the technical capabilities of Dynamics Business Central, including appropriate functional or technical certifications. Experience with modelling business process and translating requirements into a business application. Strong background in financial processes (Sales, Purchase, Inventory) and their mapping in Dynamics BC. Experience in defining, developing, and delivering solutions based on MS Dynamics BC, ideally in a variety of End to End Implementations, Support, Upgrade, Integration projects in Dynamics BC, vast experience of custom design, complex systems, interfaces with external systems and web services technologies. Good Project Management skills with various stages of a Project, and Application Lifecycle Management with a flexible and adaptable hands-on mentality.
