What We're Looking For:
We are searching for dedicated Teaching Assistants who can provide in EAL learners, some of whom possess little English or communication ability. You will work mainly in early years or KS1 but may need to assist other years if the support is required. You will work closely with the children individually or in groups to assist them in and out of lessons to tailor their learning to meet their needs to enhance their English skills. You will be required to monitor the children’s progress and report back to teachers with feedback.
While previous EAL experience is highly desirable, it is not essential. What's crucial is the willingness to apply for or hold the following qualifications:
Fluency in Arabic, Farsi or Urdu in addition to English
Enhanced DBS Check - Ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all students is our top priority. (This can be completed through us if not already in receipt.)
EWC Registration - A commitment to professionalism and excellence in education is essential.
