Outreach Support workersrequired to work with unaccompanied and asylum seeking young children (UASC) with a base located in Antrim. We are currently recruiting for 4 positions with immediate starts available. This team utilises skilled and qualified support workers dedicated to assisting minors seeking asylum in Northern Ireland. These UASC young people may have limited English, with minimal information provided, posing a challenge to building trust. Candidates applying must be capable of handling complex issues and be able to maintain strong relationships. As a contracted supplier for the NHS, these positions are all temporary ongoing. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am 5pm, with overtime hours available in the evenings and weekends. Hourly rate is £12.86 for Monday to Friday hours, although additional overtime & weekend rates are all available from £16.72 £20.58 per hour. A Minimum of 2 Years direct and recent experience of engaging with young people on an individual or group basis, either paid or voluntary is essential for this role. Successful candidates must be NISCC registered and have a full driving licence valid for the UK with business insurance, and access to a car, as travel is essential. Mileage allowance payment provided weekly. Enhanced Access NI Check will be completed prior to start date.
