Position: English Teacher (Part-time, Thursday & Friday)

Contract Type: Long-term (until February Half Term with potential for extension)
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a specialist secondary school catering for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role will be part-time, working on Thursdays and Fridays, and is expected to continue until at least February half term, with the possibility of an extension.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality English lessons to students with ASD in a supportive and inclusive environment.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lesson content in line with the school's curriculum and policies.
* Provide a safe and structured learning environment where students can thrive.
* Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
* Work closely with the SEND team and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable.
* Strong classroom management skills, with a compassionate and flexible approach to teaching.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
