Location: Shoreditch! 4 days in the office 1 day from home!

4. Contract Length: 12 months
5. Working Pattern: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year

Responsibilities:
As the Business Support Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's operations, playing a pivotal role in supporting their governance and HR activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Attendance to governance meetings, minute taking, and following up on actions
2. Liaising and acting as point of contact for trustees
3. Arranging meetings for Execs and Trustees
4. Drafting and issuing communications as needed by the Chair, Trustees and Execs
5. Assisting with audit queries as and when required
6. Planning induction programme of new trustees
7. Undertaking regular reviews of policies, staff handbook, trustee
8. Providing secretariat support to governance committees
9. Drafting agendas, distributing papers, and minute-taking for meetings
10. Liaising with trustees and maintaining governance records
11. Assisting with the implementation of the EDI strategy and the organisation's vision
12. Onboarding of resources: references, right to work checks, drafting of contracts and offer letters, planning of induction programme, sourcing of IT kit/required equipment, arranging IT induction
13. Management and administration of Breathe (HR Platform)
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
1. Previous experience in an executive support role, working with Board of Trustees
2. Proficiency in Microsoft packages
3. Excellent organisational and communication skills
4. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
5. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following will be advantageous:
1. Previous experience in the charitable and philanthropic sector
Technologies:
Proficiency in Microsoft packages
