As an Assistant Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting and delivering a high-quality programme of support and meaningful activities. You will need good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with vulnerable adults who have experienced homelessness.
You will work with a team to ensure the smooth running of the centre, supporting clients in their move into independent accommodation, assisting with reception duties, administration, support, activities, and life skills training.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
1. Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes
2. Good customer service and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
4. A positive attitude and motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients
5. Good team working skills
6. Proficient in a range of IT packages including Microsoft
