Description Job Posting Title: General Assistant (x2) Grade and Salary: Grade 3 (£21,901-£23,581) FTE and working pattern: Full time position – 35 hours per week, based in Riccarton Campus, Edinburgh, 5 from 7 shift pattern Purpose of Role: To ensure the smooth running of all of the back of operations areas working closely with the Head Chef and Chefs. To actively contribute to the successful delivery of excellent service to all students, staff and visitors across the university. By keeping all food and beverage outlets and events clean and tidy as well as supporting with any preparation work requested by the chefs and ensuring all stock is where it should be. The team supports and operates eight cafes, an extensive delivered catering service, a bespoke deli and a world food court as well as providing the catering to an extensive range of high end corporate and conference events.
