As a Social Worker in the Children's Safe and Protect Team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding children and supporting families. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop safeguarding plans, and collaborate with multi-agency professionals to deliver tailored support that ensures children's safety and well-being.
The responsibilities of this role include managing a caseload of children in need, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs, developing, implementing, and monitoring child-centered safeguarding and support plans, and working closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
* You will be required to attend and contribute to child protection conferences, court proceedings, and other key meetings, and maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory and professional standards.
* Advocating for the voices of children, ensuring their perspectives are central to decision-making, is also a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with significant experience in child protection or similar statutory social work roles. They will have a strong understanding of safeguarding policies, relevant legislation, and child-centered practices.
