An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join our Finance Service at Cheshire West and Chester. The role will involve providing advice, information, analysis and interpretation to Education & Inclusion budget holders to underpin effective decision making, meaningful performance management and to meet statutory requirements.
You will support the provision of advice, information, analysis and interpretation to budget holders to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and make a real and demonstrable difference to the Council’s business.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in a Finance officer or equivalent role who has strong analytical skills and can effectively supervise and motivate staff. You should have a high degree of commitment, self-motivation, and initiative, and be able to present and communicate information to non-finance professionals in a meaningful way.

The role is full time; hours per week.
Location: Agile Worker – working from home with occasional travel to workspaces across the Borough of Cheshire West and Chester.
