Location: Hybrid with regular travel to client sites/projects across the UK (primarily 60 mile radius of Northampton Office).
Minimum of weekly attendance at our Northampton Office is required.

About us / Your Role: We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Professional to deliver high quality consultancy services, specialising in construction / CDM 2015 compliance. Main Duties: Your time will primarily be spent providing pragmatic support and advice to our construction clients, to help ensure legal compliance and effective H&S management systems / arrangements are in place. You will be required to travel regularly to undertake client site inspections; risk assessments & safe methods of work; accident investigations and other activities associated within the fields of Health, Safety and CDM 2015 compliance, all whilst maintaining the best interests of the Client. Additional duties in accordance with client requirements.
Essentials Skills / Experience:
• Full UK / EU Driving licence and ability to travel to client projects / premises
• Construction industry experience / knowledge
• Nebosh General Certificate (minimum)
• Implementation of the CDM Regulations for both Principal Contractor & Contractors
• Previous experience in similar health & safety role / Knowledge of Health & Safety Law
• Passionate about proactive health and safety management
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to reactive work tasks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• IT competent (Microsoft); report writing abilities
Desirable Skills / Experience (not- essential):
• Degree / Diploma Level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (Or equivalent)
• Membership with IOSH (Tech/Certified) with active CPD diary
• Nebosh Construction Certificate
• Nebosh Fire Certificate / Ability to carry our Fire Risk Assessments
• Experienced in health and safety consultancy services / similar role (2 yrs)
• Experienced in other fields of health and safety management (inc. manufacturing)
• ISO Management experience
• Training delivery capability
• Commercial awareness (ability to understand client business structures/priorities)
