We have an exciting opportunity to join the Graduate Accommodation team in the Estate Services Department as a Facilities and Services Site Assistant working on site.

About the Role
As Facilities and Services Site Assistant, you will report to the Facilities and Services Site Manager. You will be based at Castle Mill, but you may provide cover for other Graduate Accommodation sites in Oxford on occasion.
You will act as the first point of contact for residents and contractors on the University’s Graduate Accommodation sites, responding to and triaging maintenance issues, ensuring accommodation is ready for new tenants and checking them into and out of their accommodation.
You will also be responsible for testing the fire alarm systems and keeping the necessary records, assisting with health and safety reviews and on occasion, undertaking general minor repairs including painting/touching up, unblocking sinks/showers and adjusting washers on taps.

You will be computer literate, have great communication skills, and be confident in your ability to communicate with students, contractors and University staff with courtesy and politeness. You will also have a positive attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach to your work, and be comfortable when priorities suddenly need to change.
Ideally you will be comfortable with basic maintenance tasks, however training will be provided.
