Job summary
As a Bank Receptionist you will provide administrative and hygiene specific support to our Oldham Integrated Care Centre, as well as providing fantastic customer service to our service users who are attending Dermatology appointments with us.
Our Service provides Dermatology and Skin Cancer care to service users within the Oldham area. We are classed as being a secondary care service offering a full range of dermatology related services.
You will work in conjunction with our friendly and welcomingclinical and managerial teams to ensure appointment capacity is utilised and the timeliness of patient appointments is monitored and you'll carry out clerical duties to ensure a comprehensive and efficient administrative support service.
You will be based at our clinic in Oldham which operates Monday Saturday between 8am -8pm with the opportunity for evening and weekend shifts.
Main duties of the job
As a Bank Receptionist you will:
1. Meet and Greet patients for all Dermatology Appointments
2. Outcome appointments, typing and sending clinical letters to GP practices and local trusts
3. Prepare and clear down clinical rooms.
4. Prepare and clear down reception area - Including locking equipment and patient Information
5. Prepare administration for the day
6. Upload all documentation from clinics, Including medical photography, paperwork, Incoming and actioned post
7. Prepare friends and family feedback and Upload friends and family feedback online
8. Cancellation reports from confirmation text messages
9. Ensure process Is followed for patients who do not attend

Our ideal candidate will:
18. Be able to organise and prioritise own workload
19. Able to communicate effectively and in appropriate manner with individual and groups at all levels
20. Have strong administration and IT skills
21. Have good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, and customer service
22. Have an ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
23. Have prior knowledge of EMIS (clinical database)
24. Have previous experience working within a healthcare environment
25. Be able to work using own initiative
