Our client located on the outskirts of Stamford is now looking to recruit a Parts & Shipping Coordinator to join their successful team. The key role of the Parts & Shipping Coordinator is to ensure that all goods are picked, booked, packed and shipped out daily, and goods being dispatched have the required documentation.
This is a full-time permanent role. Salary between £28,000 - £30,000 along with an excellent non salaried package.
Key Responsibilirties:
* To coordinate all Aftermarket spares jobs using the Work orders / purchase orders issued by Aftermarket department.
* Pick the goods ready for outsourcing or manufacturing to meet the relevant start date.
* To produce and maintain accurate documentation. (Record heat numbers etc)
* Issue the parts from the Works Order on SAGE 200 daily. Update the Manufacturing Log with percentage complete.
* Coordinate the packing of goods working with Logistics to ensure we have the correct sizes for wooden crates, pallet bases post final inspection.
* Return to stock and parts not used and update the relevant works order.
* Inspecting goods received, booking them in, Non-Ferrous items will need to be Positive Material Identified (PMI) using the material certificate. (Cover holiday periods)
* Support day to day activities if / when worked up on Aftermarket orders.
* To support Stock take
* Unloading / loading items.
* Keep Goods Inwards and Stores areas clean and tidy
* Keep staging area clearly marked with Job numbers.
Key Skills
* Experience of similar role
* FLT Licence/Vertical Lifter
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Strong Knowledge of MRP system would be advantageous
* Experience of working in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment
* Ability to understand piece part drawings.
