We are looking for a Raw Materials Buyer who will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth by securing the essential ingredients that drive our business forward. Working closely with our R&D and Supply Chain teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, efficient procurement of top-quality raw materials. You’ll manage supplier relationships, contribute to cost-saving initiatives, and help optimise our materials supply chain to support both our current production needs and future expansion. This role reports into our Head of Procurement and is based onsite 3 days per week at our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury. Key Responsibilities: Purchase best quality Raw Materials to ensure that the weekly production plans can be met Work with R&D team to ensure successful delivery of all NPD/EPD projects Ensuring all Raw Material purchases comply with internal CFI and Vegan requirements Ensures key Raw Materials have clear Secondary Supply Deliver agreed margin improvements and stockholding reductions Raw Material Supplier approval, set-up and on-going management Ensuring identified key suppliers have beneficial contracts agreed Escalates any issues with suppliers to ensure efficient and smooth resolutions and finding quick solutions Ensures market knowledge of natural ingredients is always constantly updated ERP product set-up and Bill of Materials approval Requirements: Experience of purchasing Raw Materials/Chemicals for the cosmetics industry Experience of working with ERP systems Experience of Supplier Management and delivering improvement plans Excellent IT skills: Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent systems (G-suite) Have great attention to detail and accuracy Have the ability to build relationships and work well with a variety of people Demonstrate a high level of teamwork, discipline, and enthusiasm Excellent organisational skills A bout us Founded in 2009 by UK scientists and brothers, Elliot and Daniel Isaacs, we are a British, B Corp™ certified dermatological skincare brand, globally renowned for our age-defying heroes that deliver results without compromise.
