Job Role: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Location: Crawley, West Sussex (accepting applications from surrounding counties)
Salary: £32,000-£38,000 per annum (£44,000+ OTE) - paid door to door
Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week + overtime @ 1.5x

The client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, growing Material Handling firm based in Sussex on their search for a mobile forklift engineer to join their growing team. Our client has been established for over 30 years and is one of the largest independent forklift dealers in the South East region. They offer a comprehensive training package and are open to taking engineers from a plant, HGV, Automotive or Agricultural background.
The package:
All overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours (£23-£27 per hour) with average availability of 5 hours per week.
An average of 5 hours of overtime available per week = additional £115 per week / £5,980 per annum
28 days holiday including bank holidays + birthday day off (or closest working day if your birthday falls on the weekend)

The Duties:
Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on an array of forklifts.
Collaborate with customers surrounding the lifting and handling products.
The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered.
Actively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions.
Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
The Requirements:
Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
Previous experience working in the Forklift, Plant, HGV and/or Agricultural industries (advantageous)
Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
Full UK Drivers License
