About the Role:
As a Microsoft Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organisation's digital assets. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect the systems and data from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft security technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Design and Implementation:
Develop and implement security measures for Microsoft environments, including Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server.
2. Threat Detection and Response:
Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond to security breaches promptly.
3. Vulnerability Management:
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
4. Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR and ISO 27001.
5. Security Awareness:
Provide training and guidance to employees on security best practices and policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft security tools and technologies.
4. Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
5. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
6. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, or CEH.
