Ruia Group are a leading supplier of textiles and hosiery in the UK. We are looking to recruit a part-time receptionist to join our team. You will play a vital role in our busy head office, directing calls and visitors across the business.
We are looking for a confident, presentable person who can provide excellent customer service and complete reception duties alongside administration support to various teams.
As the first point of contact for customers and visitors, you will have excellent communication skills and a professional and friendly telephone manner.
Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this Reception role is to provide front of house reception duties for Kearsley & Dove Mill sites.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Efficiently manage and answer a high volume of incoming calls through a switchboard, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, and directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals as necessary.
2. Accurately take messages and promptly relay them via email or other communication channels to relevant colleagues or departments.
3. Greet visitors to the site warmly, ensuring proper security procedures are followed, such as issuing identity badges and recording departure times.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects a professional image.
5. Perform general administrative tasks, including preparing outgoing mail, filing envelopes, and providing essential support for administrative activities.
Skills and Competencies
1. Previous reception / switchboard experience is essential.
2. Strong administration skills.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Good numeracy and literacy skills.
5. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
6. Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
7. Flexible to cover for holidays/absence as necessary.
Hours of work - 40 per week to be worked as below:
8.30am to 5.30pm Mon - Fri
Location: Kearsley M26 1RH

Pay: £11.85 per hour
