What skills and experience we're looking for
The post holder will also be expected to provide general administrative support to the pastoral and reception team; including answering phones, sending emails & parental communications using the college communication software. On occasions, they may need to provide cover for other colleagues in the administration team if they are absent.
The post holder will also be required to operate the school ‘on-call’ system and support the administration of the behaviour system (logging incidents, detentions etc.) You will need to feel confident using a ‘walkie-talkie’ radio to communicate with the duty team.
The successful candidate should have a flexible approach to working and be willing to turn their hand to any administrative tasks. We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude. You will need excellent secretarial skills and be a competent user of IT. Experience of working in a customer facing role is also important.
