Territory Account Manager - Exports
UK, Cardiff, Coventry, Billericay, Or Tamworth
Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Account Manager to join our UK based Colour team. You will work at least 3 days per week from your allocated local office, balance from Home, working closely with the Colour commercial team, supply chain & customer service to ensure business growth. You will be responsible for managing an agreed base, also targeting new customers and delivering on our financial commitments. The successful candidate will use their already honed sales skills, to actively promote and recommend our products across a diverse geographical and culturally diverse customer base comprising mainly cosmetic, personal care and pharmaceutical companies, but also Agents who represent our interests in agreed geographies.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* Build strong trust & relationships with Agents and Key customers.
* Learn the Colour business and product range, become a ‘trusted advisor’ to your customers
* Develop a pipeline of potential new customers and contacts
* Generate a robust, sustainable target pipeline of opportunity
* Sustainable price management to maximize long term growth
* Effective activity management across customer & key portfolios
* Salesforce (CRM sales tool) update and maintenance
* Contribute to marketing and promotional activity
* Visit Key customers as required.
We Are Looking For
An unrivalled passion to win and a self-motivated and positive outlook on sales is an absolute must. You will have the right behaviours to build strong relationships across all levels and the ability to react quickly. You will have a strong desire to be successful and make a real difference.
You will ideally have knowledge of the Export sales-process or demonstrate you can learn really quickly.
The right candidate will need a minimum of two years of previous sales experience & will show the desire & attitude to be a highly skilled salesperson with experience of managing existing accounts and identifying and gaining new business. You will be highly organised with excellent prioritisation / time management skills. The successful individual must also be proficient at handling multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Having the right motivation, focus and ability to execute a growth plan is key to this role.
