Role Summary
CHC Helicopters is looking for Pilots to join its professional and flexible team in Norwich. If you are looking for a pilot position in a dynamic team where there is emphasis on teamwork, technological development and have a competitive salary, CHC is looking forward to hearing from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operates their assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with CHC operational standards and all applicable regulations;
2. Places safety and customer service at the forefront in everything they do, both inside and outside the aircraft;
3. Maintains situational awareness throughout the entire operational region with respect to weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state and customer offshore facility status;
4. Supports the aircraft commander in a safe operation of flights;
5. Facilitates communications with the customer and ensures CHC is represented in a professional manner;
6. Stays up to date on all operational and safety procedures;
7. Complies with other duties and assignments as determined by the Flight Operations Management team;
8. Work area is Norwich, but secondments to other operating bases are possible.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Minimum Qualifications
1. Valid and current UK CAA ATPL (H) or UK CAA Frozen ATPL (H),
2. Valid and current Multi Engine Instrument rating (H),
3. Applicants are required to hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate,
4. Applicants will be required to complete psychometric testing,
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required;
6. Must be organised and be able to work with a large and varied workload,
7. Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team,
8. Must be able to pass a UK security background check,
9. Must be IT literate and able to work with CHC IT systems for flight planning, rostering and others,
10. Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
1. 1 Year in the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector,
2. Type rating H175,
3. EASA ATPL (H) alongside UK CAA ATPL (H),
4. 1,500 hours PIC helicopter,
5. 500 hours Multi Engine,
6. ICAO English level 6,
7. Multi Crew Cooperation Course, MCC (H),
8. Living or willing to live within 1 hr travel distance from Norwich while on duty.
