We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Team Leader for our Adult Mental Health In-patient female acute ward based at Highbury Hospital. We are looking for a dedicated and innovative candidate who has the relevant skills to enable them to effectively lead a team, demonstrating the knowledge and experience necessary to inspire good practice and develop services and enhance patient experience and quality.
Redwood 2 is a 16 bedded female acute inpatient ward based at Highbury Hospital who provides care and treatment to females between the age of 18-65 who are experiencing an acute episode of their mental health disorder or within their emotional needs.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of the leadership team on Redwood 2. You will provide a visible point of contact to colleagues requiring guidance and support in the delivery of care and a contact point for liaison with other professionals. You will provide overall leadership, role modelling and support to junior colleagues and aid leading a team to offer and provide high quality, personalised and effective care.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused registered nurses with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary team and to be involved in extensive assessments and formulations to support the planning and delivery of patients care. You will also be a pivotal part of the ward leadership team offering support to both staff and patients. The multidisciplinary teams all work in a way that is collaborative, evidenced based and responsive to people's needs.

Day to Day Duties:
* Professional nursing leadership within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Provide clinical leadership, coaching & mentoring for the development of services.
* Maintain excellence through clinical practice development & quality improvement.
* Responsible for the safe monitoring, management and administration of medication as required by Trust policy.

Qualifications
* Maintains current registration with the NMC
* Further specialist knowledge/post registration experience in specific service area or other formal training.

Experience
* Demonstrates satisfactory clinical expertise for the banding.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year (pro rata for part time)
